My Story
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my story and learn more about me.
I didn't join Scentsy the "traditional" way - I did not host a party nor receive Scentsy as a gift to fall in love with it. I joined strictly for the tax benefits having a home-based business would provide for me. You see, I was already earning a nice salary working as a paralegal and having a side job on the weekends; however, because I am single with no kids, Uncle Sam took a HUGE BITE out of each paycheck. Operating a home-based business was a way I could recoup some of that money at tax time. So I found a consultant and signed up and began my Scentsy Journey in March 2010.
I shared the testers with my friends and family and collected the orders without much effort. I handed out catalogs to strangers and collected some orders. I worked the Scentsy booth at the Western Idaho Fair and found people that wanted to have parties and earn free and discounted Scentsy. It was all so simple and yet it did take effort by me to make it happen. Now I've built a small team, created a second income, quit the weekend job, and have met some awesome people along the way who have brought so much to my life!!! I am very thankful for the opportunities that Scentsy has offered me and feel very blessed that I joined when I did. My teammates are fun, encouraging, willing to share their ideas, positive, and inspiring!
